Privacy notice

This notice explains how personal data sent through linegbs.com is handled.

Who is responsible

Gaye Bezircioğlu Senvenli (Line GBS), contact: gaye@linegbs.com.

What is collected and why

  • Contact, enquiry and workshop forms: your name, email address, optional phone number and your message, to answer you and, for workshops, to organise your place.
  • Newsletter: your email address and preferred language, to send occasional news about new work, exhibitions and workshops. You confirm your subscription by email and can unsubscribe with the link in every email.
  • Visitor statistics: to see how the site is used and to improve it, aggregate visit statistics are kept with Umami, an open-source tool running on our own server: pages viewed, where visitors came from (for example a search engine or Instagram), country and city, language, browser, operating system, device type and screen size, and a few actions such as sending a form or following a link to Shopier. Your IP address is used only for a moment, to work out the location and to avoid counting the same visit twice; it is not stored. Visits are told apart by a one-way code that changes every month: it cannot identify you, and visits in different months cannot be linked. If your browser sends “Do Not Track”, your visit is not counted at all.
  • Cookies: the site sets no advertising or statistics cookies; the visitor statistics work without cookies too. A small cookie remembers your language choice.

Legal basis

Your explicit consent (newsletter), taking steps at your request (answering enquiries, workshop registration), and legitimate interest: running the site securely and improving it with cookie-free visitor statistics.

Where it is stored and for how long

Data is stored on a server rented from Hetzner Online GmbH in the European Union. Messages are kept for as long as needed to answer them and at most two years; newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe. Visitor statistics are kept on the same server and are not shared with anyone. Payments for shop items are handled by Shopier under its own privacy notice.

Your rights

You can ask what data is held about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its use, and withdraw consent at any time (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, Article 11; GDPR where applicable). Write to the address above.
