Gaye Bezircioglu Senvenli is an architect, artist, and academic who has been involved in a wide range of projects across various scales. She earned her undergraduate degree in Architecture from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Izmir University of Economics (IEU) in 2011, where she has been working as a part-time lecturer since 2013, contributing to numerous design studios and academic initiatives.

In 2012, she completed her master’s degree at Newcastle University, within the MAAPs-D program, where she focused on urban-scale architectural studies. Her academic journey later led her to delve into the theoretical aspects of drawing, which became the focus of her doctoral research. She received her PhD in Architectural Design from Istanbul Technical University (ITU) in 2021, with a dissertation exploring the cognitive processes involved in drawing actions.
Alongside her academic work, GBS continues to produce interdisciplinary projects that merge drawing and art, often developed through her personal workshops. She currently balances her role as a part-time lecturer with freelance workshops, where she pursues her ongoing interests in art, architecture, and design.
The intuitive nature of drawing has the potential to facilitate the free flow of thought, much like the design process, and to adapt to time and space in a unique manner.
